WESTERN SHIPPING – TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT FOR LPG/C MARCELLUS LADY

Western Shipping is proud to announce the change of Technical Management for “LPG/C Marcellus Lady” from Anglo-Eastern Ship Management (AESM) to Western Shipping on 22 September 2021.

About the Vessel

LPG/C Marcellus Lady was delivered on 23 February 2016 from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co Ltd.

The vessel was managed by AESM under strict supervision by the Owner’s Representative from the day of delivery.

About the Team Ashore & Onboard

Over the past 2 years, Western Shipping Office Team has built up on Gas Carrier Expertise prior Owners decided to take back the vessel in-house for Technical Management.

After liaising with the Owners, it was decided that the crew management shall be continued with AESM by signing an BIMCO Shipman Agreement to ensure continuity and safe operation of the vessel.

Challenges

The prevailing COVID 19 restrictions posed obvious difficulties. However with detailed Management of Change planned and the support from entire Team Owners/Charterers/Commercial/Office Team/Seafarers, the challenges were overcome and the Change of Technical Management was carried out successfully.
