Western Shipping Pte Ltd. appointed Managers for new build M.T. Arizona Lady, IMO No. 9831062
On 30th July 2019, Singapore flagged and classed with Lloyd’s Register, M.T. Arizona Lady was delivered to her owners by Sumitomo Heavy Industries Marine & Engineering Co. Ltd. Yokosuka, Japan, under Technical Management of Western Shipping Pte Ltd.
M.T. Arizona Lady, 112,000 MT DWT Double Hull Oil Tanker complies not only with existing regulatory requirements, but also with upcoming regulations. This vessel is fitted with Hitachi MAN B&W 6G60ME Main propulsion unit with an EEDI of 3.045 gmCO2/Ton-NM, fitted with Alpha Laval scrubber for SOx control as well as meets NOx IMO Tier III standards. M.T. Arizona Lady with length overall 237 meter is shorter than vessels of similar capacity, allowing greater commercial flexibility. Cargo tanks total volume of 126,764 cubic meter are coated and fitted with heating coils, makes her suitable for Crude Oil and Clean Petroleum Products.
Immediately after her delivery to owners, she was time chartered and sailed from Shipyard towards Singapore on 01st Aug, 0800 hours JST under orders from her Charterers. With an economic speed of 12 knots and maximum speed of 15 knots, this vessel has cruising range of over 60 days when fully bunkered.
M.T. Arizona Lady is declared Green Ship by MPA Singapore.
